90.0 FM WDCB is a non-commercial radio station and it depends on the financial support of its listeners to help it stay "on the air". WDCB is also Chicago's radio voice for jazz and Brazilian music, and the station does a great job of supporting local musicians. The Sounds of Brazil got its start on WDCB, broadcasting its first show 22 years ago, on April 12th, 1992.
This Sunday October 12th, I'll be a special guest on The Sounds of Brazil radio program with Scott Adams on Listener Supported 90.9 FM WDCB, 2-4pm. I'll be performing 'LIVE' during the 3:00 pm hour to help with WDCB's Fall Pledge Drive. I hope you'll plan to tune in on Sunday and to consider making a pledge of any amount to help support WDCB, Chicago's radio home for jazz and Brazilian music. You can also listen 'live' online at WDCB.org. Thanks again for your support this year!
